Recently, Allianz have opened up home insurance quotes in our call centre to those living in flood areas*. We’re here to break down this new change to help you with everything you need to know.

Can I Get Home Insurance if my House is in a Flood Area?

If your house is in a flood zone, we can still offer you a quote excluding flood cover, provided you meet our other acceptance criteria. You will be able to avail of all other comprehensive benefits Allianz offers to household customers.

We currently only offer this cover via our call centre.

How to tell if My Home is in a Flood Area

If you’re not yet sure whether you live in a flood area, there are a few websites that can help you to get an idea of flood areas around Ireland. However, if you give us a call we will be able to verify for you in relation to a quote.
