Tackling Climate Change

At Allianz Ireland we are constantly working to improve our carbon footprint as a company. That’s why we are one of 64 companies in Ireland committed to the Business in the Community Low Carbon Pledge. The first dedicated pledge generated by Irish businesses to set industry standards on sustainability and reduce carbon usage. 

We pledge to:

  • Reduce our entire carbon footprint, both direct and indirect carbon emissions
  • Reduce carbon emissions we are directly responsible for, as well as playing a part in reducing emissions across our supply chain
  • Report publicly on our progress
  • Regularly review our carbon reduction targets to align to the latest climate science
At group level, as part of our commitment to transparency on climate change, we apply the recommendations of the G20 Financial Stability Board’s Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). We strive to continuously enhance our reporting and business practices to drive best practice and collaborate with and support others to do the same.
