Allianz Olympics & Paralympics Affinity Program Terms & Conditions

1. There will be 8 winners of the Allianz online Olympics & Paralympics Competition (referred to as the competition for the purpose of these terms and conditions). The first 4 winners can choose a trip to support Team Ireland at the Olympic Games in Paris which includes flights to Paris from Dublin on the 7th of August and from Paris to Dublin on the 8th of August , accommodation in the 5 star Maison hotel, hospitality, and hospitality passes to the Team Ireland House, passes to the athletics and skate boarding events on the 7th of August for them and one guest OR a trip to the Paralympic Games in Paris which includes flights to Paris from Dublin on the 4th of September and from Paris to Dublin on the 5th of September, accommodation in the 4 star Crowne Plaza Hotel Paris République, hospitality passes to the Team Ireland House, passes to the Para Athletics at Stade de France on September 4th as well as Para Judo at Champ de Mars Arena on September 5th. The 5th,6th,7th and 8th winners will receive the remaining prize.
2. To be entered into the competition, you must purchase a home or car insurance policy online at Allianz.ie between the 29/01/2024 to 19/04/2024 inclusive. Once purchased you will automatically be entered into the competition. 
3. You must be over 18 years of age to qualify for the competition and your chosen guest must also be over 18. You must be insured with Allianz directly and you must be a resident in the Republic of Ireland to enter. Allianz p.l.c. reserves the right to request proof of a winner’s identity, age, and address. In the event that a prize winner cannot provide us with proof of identity and age reasonably acceptable to us, we may withdraw the prize and select another prize winner. 
4. Any person entering the competition will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and all entries must be strictly in accordance with these terms and conditions. Any entry not in strict accordance with these terms and conditions will be deemed to be invalid and no prize will be awarded. 
5. Allianz p.l.c will randomly select the winners from the entries on 22/04/2024 and will contact winners by 23/04/2024. If we cannot reach you on the number or email provided we will leave a message for you to contact us, you must do so by COB on 24/04/2024. If the initial winners don’t respond to our notifications by this time, then that winner will forfeit all rights and entitlement to the prize and another winner will be selected at random if for any reason the initial winners cannot accept the prize we will select an alternative winner. 
6. Allianz p.l.c reserves the right to draw an alternative winner in the event that we believe any winner has contravened these terms and conditions. 
7. This prize is not transferable and the policyholder must attend with a guest of their choice. 
8. By entering the entrant grants Allianz p.l.c. the right to publish his/her first name in social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, email, and on Allianz p.l.c website) to disclose the results of the competition including the winner's first name and insurance product, where applicable, for a maximum period of 14 months from date of entry.
9. If a winner shares positive feedback to Allianz about the competition, Allianz p.l.c., with the winners permission has the right to publish his/her feedback and first name and product insured with Allianz in social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, email, and on Allianz plc website). 
10. Employees of Allianz p.l.c., their agents and members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter the competition. 
11. No alternative prizes are available and there is no cash equivalent.
12. The winner may not transfer the prize to any other person. 
13. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, results and all other matters relating to the competition the decision of Allianz p.l.c. shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into. 
14. Allianz p.l.c. reserves the right to suspend or terminate the competition or amend these terms and conditions at any time for any valid technical or commercial reason, without notification.
15. There are certain things for which Allianz p.l.c. does not accept any liability to you. Allianz p.l.c. will not be responsible for and will have no liability in connection with acts, omissions, and occurrences beyond Allianz’s reasonable control, including but not limited to: a) any postponement or cancellation of the offer, b) any changes to the prize or the way in which they can be used c)  damage loss, injury suffered by any entrant entering the competition at the event itself, or as a result of accepting any prize d) problems with the allotment or dispatch of prizes (such as prizes failing to reach the intended recipient)   e) any act omission or default of any third party supplier.  
16. Allianz p.l.c. will not be liable for any damage, loss, or disappointment suffered by any person in entering into the competition, , including as a result of any entrant winning or not winning any prize. Allianz does not accept responsibility for network, computer, hardware, or software failure of any kind, which may affect the sending, receipt or processing of your entry. 
17. Allianz will be not be liable or have any responsibility, for lost or stolen tickets. 
18. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, results and all other matters relating to the competition, the decision of Allianz p.l.c. shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into. Allianz p.l.c will not be liable for any failure or delay that is due to any of the following causes (which causes are hereinafter referred to as “Force Majeure”), to the extent beyond its reasonable control: acts of God, accident, riots, war, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic (including the Covid-19 pandemic), quarantine, civil commotion, breakdown of communication facilities, natural catastrophes, governmental acts or omissions, changes in laws or regulations, national strikes, fire, explosion, or generalized lack of availability of raw materials or energy.
