Fees and Charges

Premium Transaction Charges for Mid Term Adjustments:

Republic of Ireland

We may apply a maximum premium transaction charge of €20 for each alteration you make to your policy.

If a change to your policy results in an additional premium of less than €50 (€25 for Pet) after taking into account the premium transaction charge then no charge will be made.

If a change to your policy results in a refund of less than €10 (€25 for Pet) after taking into account the premium transaction charge then no refund will be made.

Direct Debit Charges

Direct - New policies:

Motor and Home: If you choose to pay your premium by monthly Direct Debit an 8% service charge will be applied to the full annual premium. 

Pet: No service charge applies on pet insurance policies.

Direct - Renewing Policies: 

Home: No service charge applies if you have a home insurance policy insured with Allianz Direct that renews on or after 20th November 2023 

Car: 8% Service charge on monthly Direct Debit payments applies to car insurance policies

Pet: No service charge applies on pet insurance policies.
